Alison Armstrong

A nationally known teacher and expert on understanding men and having satisfying relationships with them, Alison Armstrong is the designer of the widely acclaimed “Celebrating Men, Satisfying Women®” workshop, as well as several other exceptional programs for workshop graduates, including “Celebrating Women: Regarding Ecstasy and Power,” “Celebrating Men and Sex” and “Celebrating Men and Marriage.” Her research is the basis of these programs as well as the “The Amazing Development of MenTM” audiotape presentation and the “Transforming the Frog FarmerTM” seminar. Alison is the co-founder of PAX Programs Incorporated, a company dedicated to promoting peace between men and women. Her workshops have been the avenue for over 3,000 women in more than 35 states to transform their relationships with men.

In January of 1991, Alison discovered she was “a frog farmer”: someone who, instead of turning frogs into princes, turns princes into frogs. Since then she has devoted her time to understanding what women do that brings out the worst in men, and what women can do to bring out the best in them. For over a decade, she has been listening to and observing men and learning why they do what they do. What she learned about men completely surprised her as it does not agree with what she had been taught growing up a feminist. Her conclusions about men’s motivations, thought processes and behavior have been validated by hundreds of men. She continues to discover new and fascinating things about men and includes her findings in the programs offered by PAX. Alison is known for her unique ability to convey this extraordinary information to others in a way that is immediately enlightening and useful for them.

Prior to founding PAX, Alison was an activist for the homeless, hungry and children for many years. She has a talent for getting to the source of a conflict or issue and creating ways to resolve it. She founded the Orange County Summit for Children, which according to Judge Briseno, the presiding judge of the Orange County Juvenile Court, “will forever change the way we deal with children’s issues in Orange County (CA).” She also served as an officer of the Orange County Homeless Issues Task Force. During her service as chairwoman, the Task Force was named by the Orange County Grand Jury as “the most effective organization addressing homelessness in Orange County”. Alison has applied the same qualities that made her effective as an activist to helping women and men have more effortless and fulfilling relationships.

Alison has been a teacher of transformational programs for more than two decades, including Landmark Education Corporation’s “Self-Expression and Leadership Program” and The Education Network’s “Access to Breakthrough Teaching.” In both her design and teaching of programs for adults, Alison is committed to people having freedom, choice, self-expression and satisfaction in their relationships and endeavors.

Alison lives in Los Angeles with her husband Greg and their three children.
